Key Responsibilities

  • Keeping projects on or ahead of schedule and within budget
  • Reviewing all job contract documents for requirements and flow downs
  • Developing, implementing and maintaining project schedules
  • Maintaining project meeting minutes and distribution
  • Reporting project progress to the customer and Honeywell project team
  • Evaluating subcontractor performance against requirements
  • Assist with commissioning and record keeping of Energy Control Measures
  • Management, supervision and coordination of all on-site construction activities
  • Main point of contact for the customer

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 2 years of Construction Project Management experience or Degree in Engineering or Construction/Project Management
  • 2 years’ experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Project
  • US Citizenship is required
  • A Valid Driver’s License

WE VALUE

  • 5 Years of Construction Supervision and/or Project Management experience.
  • Project Management financial experience.
  • Project Management experience in Performance Contract / Energy Retrofit projects.
  • Technical expertise in mechanical, electrical and/or controls systems.
  • Experience managing and supervising employees, subcontractors and trades people.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred), Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Experience implementing safety management measures on construction projects.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills with great attention to detail.
  • A proficient understanding of the principles and best practices in customer service
  • Excellent team and communication skills to work and effectively communicate with customer, trades people and Honeywell project teams
  • Taking initiative as a self-starter and to be able to work both independently with limited direction and in a team environment.
  • An ability to work on multiple projects and effectively manage priorities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Continuing performance improvement, meeting commitments, and getting results.
  • Exceeding internal and external customer expectations
  • An ability to accept assignments which require frequent travel and overnight stays
  • NJ public bidding experience, including preparation/review of NJ public bid documents, NJ public bid laws and NJ public contract laws.
