Honeywell is currently recruiting for a Sr Advanced Electronics Engineer to join the team in Fort Washington, PA.

The position will be reporting to the Senior Manager of Hardware Engineering and will be responsible for electrical circuit board design and system board architecture, analysis, simulation, and test of electronic equipment for Process and Safety Controller and IO products from prototype to production launch. You will use your advanced knowledge of the hardware engineering discipline, processes and tools to help Honeywell Process Solutions (HPS) deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers. You will be part of a group of highly committed professionals who provide expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programs while acting as a mentor to more junior engineers. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, document and validate complex electronic design solutions including high speed digital and analog circuitry in all phases of the product development lifecycle (Requirements, Design, Validation, Factory Introduction, Continuation)
• Follow established design methodologies for new or existing products
• Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance and agency approvals
• Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project compliance
• Lead and support Value Engineering activities
• Lead and/or participate in concept, specification, and design reviews
• Adhere to cost, schedule and quality requirements for deliverables
• Work with factory and customer service to address and resolve product issues as they are identified, such as obsolescence, factory emergencies, or requirements changes
• Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements to products and processes
• Collaborate with various engineering functional teams
• Mentor more junior engineers in the team

YOU MUST HAVE
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
•Minimum of 7-12 years of engineering experiences developing complex products for critical applications

WE VALUE
•High speed digital design including microprocessor and memory circuitry
•Analog circuit design including experience with low voltage power supply designs and analog conditioning for industrial controls
•Analog and digital system modeling and analysis
•Schematic design and multi-layer, high density PCB layout using CAD tools (Mentor Graphics Expedition, Cadence, OrCad, etc)
•Design for EMC/EMI compliance and protection of electronic equipment
•High availability design experience and skills:  FMEA analysis and SIL
•Experience with developing industrial products for hazardous locations and equivalent agency approvals 
•Debug, test and characterization of circuits using standard electronic test equipment
•Experience in low level software to support board bring up and built in test
•Experience in Cost Reduction/Value Engineering projects
•Experience with Six Sigma/DFMEA techniques
•Ability to work collaboratively with global design teams and with cross-functional matrixed project teams (Program Management, Quality, Sourcing, Offering Management and Manufacturing) to converge on designs, agree on solutions, and deliver the product on-time and within budget
•Strong problem-solving skills including ability to proactively anticipate risks and identify/mitigate potential issues before they occur
•Advanced proficiency in various programs including MS Office, Microsoft Project
•Strong written/oral communications skills 
•Innovation and creativity
•MS in Electrical Engineering is desired
